Application Process

The applicant must be board eligible, or board certified in internal medicine or gastroenterology prior to starting the program.

Fellows will perform inpatient hepatology consultations at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center and outpatient clinical consultations at the Orlando Health Digestive Health Institute Liver Center under the direct supervision of an attending hepatologist. Fellows may supervise medical residents or students during the hepatology inpatient consult service. We currently do not have a liver transplant center, and candidates will not be exposed to the management of an immediate post-liver transplant patient.

If you are interested in our fellowship program, send your curriculum vitae, personal statement of professional goals, copy of medical school diploma, USMLE scores, three letters of recommendation including one from your program director, valid ECFMG certification (if graduated from a medical school outside the U.S. or Canada), to [email protected].

The fellowship program is committed to providing a safe and inclusive learning environment. We welcome applications from diverse backgrounds without regard to age, race, gender, religious belief, ethnicity or national origin.
