Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children offers an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Fellowship program. Dedicated to providing leading-edge critical care medicine, the hospital has a highly specialized Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) as well as a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
Our PICU provides cutting-edge surgical and nonsurgical neurocritical care to babies, children and young adults. The Leon Pediatric Neuroscience Center of Excellence, which includes the most highly experienced neurosurgical team in Central Florida, provides our patients with the most advanced microsurgical options for all levels of neurosurgical cases.
The Pediatric Brain Tumor Program cares for patients throughout the state of Florida, providing peace of mind that they are receiving the most current treatment that allows for the best neurological outcome. Our highly specialized neuro-oncology team understands and individualizes each patient’s treatment plan based on the more than 120 different types of brain tumors.
Our robust Pediatric Craniomaxillofacial team provides the most compassionate care while achieving nationally recognized outcomes and is dedicated to training the next generation of oral-maxillofacial surgeons.

- Approximately 1,800 admissions per year
