Which is why the emergency department (ER) at Orlando Health Sebastian River Hospital is equipped to handle any emergency situation — from minor to major conditions — 24 hours a day, seven days a week. With a focus on delivering patient-centered care and reducing wait times, we offer the community local, comprehensive emergency care with the best possible patient experience.
Our team of board-certified emergency medicine physicians, specially trained ER nurses and skilled medical professionals are here for you, ready to provide the expert care you need. Together with the latest technology and support from other hospital-based specialty teams, we offer a full spectrum of emergency services. With extensive diagnostic imaging, laboratory services, cardiac catheterization labs and operating rooms, we can deliver quick, accurate diagnoses and prompt treatment for all our ER patients, including heart attack and stroke patients. We are an Accredited Chest Paint Center with PCI by the American College of Cardiology, and we have earned Primary Stroke Center Accreditation from The Joint Commission. These accreditations recognize us for a higher standard of quality heart attack and stroke care, when quick action is critical. And local emergency medical services work closely with our ERs to ensure the best emergency care for our communities.
