Proven weight-loss surgeries we offer include:

Gastric Bypass – This weight loss surgery reduces the size of your stomach to a small pouch — about the size of an egg — by stapling off a section of it. This limits the amount of food you can consume at a time. This will cut down on the number of calories you consume at a given meal, which in turn will help with weight loss.

Sleeve Gastrectomy – This procedure generates weight loss solely through reducing the stomach volume and decreasing the appetite. Through small incisions, each between one and two inches long, approximately 70% of the stomach is removed. This new stomach has a total capacity of just 3-5 ounces, which means patients feel full or satisfied after eating only 2-4 ounces of food.

Is Bariatric surgery Right for You?

You may candidate for bariatric surgery if you meet the following criteria:

You have a BMI of 40 or higher.
Your BMI is between 35 and 39.9, and you suffer from one or more obesity-related health problems such as type 2 diabetes or hypertension.
You have been overweight for more than five years.
You have had only had short-term success with previous attempts to lose weight.
You do not have any other disease that may have caused your obesity.
You are prepared to make substantial changes in your eating habits and lifestyle.
You do not drink alcohol in excess.
