Karen Frenier has served as president of South Seminole Hospital since 2012. Previously she has served as president of Dr. P. Phillips Hospital and vice president of operations at Orlando Regional Medical Center.
She has held various leadership roles since her career started at Orlando Health in 1980 as a staff nurse, including nurse manager of neurology, orthopedics and progressive care units; patient care administrator of Lucerne Hospital; executive director of Lucerne Hospital; and chief operating officer of ORMC.
Karen has served as the American Lung Association Asthma Walk chairperson for Orlando Health and ORMC’s chair for the American Heart Association annual Heart Walk campaign. She serves on the foundation board of directors for Seminole State College and The Christian Sharing Center.
Karen earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida Southern University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
