ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando Health Physician Associates, one of the largest multi-specialty healthcare groups in Central Florida has officially opened its doors in the Lake Nona area. The new office is located at 9679 Lake Nona Village, on Narcoossee Road between the entrances to the Lake Nona Golf & Country Club and NorthLake Park. Alix Casler, MD, Daniel Goddard, MD and Norman Lamberty, MD, will practice at the new location providing pediatrics, adult medicine and obstetrics and gynecologic services respectively. The physicians will also be joined by nurse practitioners Laura Hagedorn, Christine Echols and Tina Aponte.

“We are thrilled to be a part of the Lake Nona community,” said Dennis Buhring, president and CEO, Orlando Health Physician Associates. “We know how important it is for our patients to have us right in their backyard and by opening this Physician Associates office in the Lake Nona area we are providing an added convenience and more healthcare options so families can make the choice that’s best for them.”

Orlando Health Physician Associates relocated its physicians and staff from the Vista Lakes office on Chickasaw Trail to the Lake Nona location. With the opening in Lake Nona, the group now has 28 offices in four Central Florida counties: Lake, Orange, Seminole and Osceola. Drs. Casler and Lamberty will practice full-time at the Lake Nona location. Dr. Goddard will divide his time between the Lake Nona location and the Water’s Edge office in Edgewood.

Orlando Health Physician Associates, which is one of very few local practice groups that has been recognized as a Patient-Centered Medical Home by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), currently consists of 97 physicians. The group’s specialties include family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatric gastroenterology, orthopedics, podiatry and neuromusculoskeletal medicine.
