Angela Shah is a radiologist assistant with Orlando Health Medical Group Radiology. She has helped patients since 1995 by using technology and collaborating with colleagues to help each individual receive the best possible care. Angela helps provide imaging including:
- Ultrasounds
- Joint arthrograms
- Spinal myelograms
- GU and GI fluoroscopy
- Lumbar punctures
- Uterine hysterosalpingography
Angela’s Training
Angela completed her master’s degree in imaging science at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. She received her bachelor’s degree in medical imaging technology and associate degree in radiography from the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis.
About Angela
Angela is licensed as a radiologist assistant (RA) by the Florida Department of Health with previous registered credentials as a diagnostic medical sonographer, vascular technologist and technologist in radiography.
Her past work has seen her collaborate with transplant surgeons through use of ultrasound to reduce chance of rejection while co-authoring medical papers on the subject. She has co-authored research papers on radiology, liver biopsies and cirrhosis, as well.
She is a member of the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, Society of Radiology Physician Extenders and American Society of Radiologic Technologists.
