Dr. Behdod "Todd" Poushanchi is a fellowship-trained gastroenterologist with the Orlando Health Digestive Health Institute. He helps patients suffering from disorders of the digestive system and provides treatment including:
- Upper endoscopy
- Esophageal dilation and variceal banding
- Management of gastrointestinal bleeding
- Push enteroscopy
- Capsule endoscopy
- Colonoscopy
- Snare polypectomy/endoscopic mucosal resection
- Sigmoidoscopy
Dr. Poushanchi’s Training
Dr. Poushanchi earned his bachelor's degree in economics from University of Michigan- Ann Arbo and his medical degree from Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine in Michigan. He completed an internal medicine residency and a gastroenterology fellowship at West Virginia University in Morgantown. He also served as a research associate for several years while earning his degrees.

Dr. Poushanchi is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American Gastroenterological Association and American College of Gastroenterology. He has been published more than a dozen times on gastroenterology topics.
With a bachelor’s degree in economics, Dr. Poushanchi enjoys investing. Outside of work, he likes to spend his time boating and weight training.
