Inoel Rivera, MD, FACS, is a board-certified urologist with the Orlando Health Cancer Institute’s Urologic Cancer Center. He has specialized in oncology for more than twenty years, using minimally invasive procedures such as laparoscopy and robotic surgery to treat cancers of the prostate, kidneys, bladder, testes, penis and adrenal glands.

Dr. Rivera’s Training
Dr. Rivera earned his medical degree and completed a residency in urologic surgery at the University of Puerto Rico, School of Medicine in Rio Piedras. He then continued his postdoctoral training as a urologic oncology fellow at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
About Dr. Rivera
As well as being a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), Dr. Rivera is certified by the American Board of Urology. His also is actively involved in several professional organizations, including the American Urological Association, Florida Urological Society, Society of Urologic Oncology, and the Society of Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgeons.
He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
