Kirbie Whitaker is a clinical oncology dietitian at the Orlando Health Cancer Institute, where she started in outpatient services. She has experience in:
- One-on-one nutrition counseling and individualized tube-feed management for patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiation
- Coordination of care including collaboration with health-care team and communication with home enteral nutrition companies
- Head and neck cancer treatment
- Pancreatic cancer
Kirbie’s Training
She earned a bachelor’s degree in pre-veterinary medicine, animal biosciences from the University of Delaware in Newark. Kirbie received her Master of Science (MS) in human nutrition from Drexel University in Philadelphia. She was an animal nutrition assistant at Walt Disney World Animal Nutrition Center in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
Kirbie is also a registered dietitian (RD) and a licensed dietitian nutritionist (LDN).

A certified lifestyle coach, Kirbie’s professional memberships include the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Outside of oncology, she has an interest in sports nutrition because of the similar overarching goals of optimizing nutrient intake for weight maintenance and performance.
