Dr. M. Victoria “Vicky” Estañol is a board-certified and fellowship-trained urogynecologist and pelvic reconstructive surgeon with Orlando Health Women's Institute Center for Urogynecology. For the past decade, Dr. Estañol has treated patients diagnosed with pelvic floor disorders. She can provide a variety of treatments, including:

  • Bladder control (Urinary incontinence, urgency, painful bladder, incomplete emptying)
  • Pelvic organ prolapse (dropping of the bladder, uterus or vagina)
  • Bowel Control (accidental bowel leaks, or difficulty passing stool)
  • Fistulas (abnormal communication between bladder/bowel and vagina)
  • Anal sphincter defects (As a result of traumatic childbirth)

Some of these conditions can be treated through pelvic floor physical therapy, lifestyle changes or medications, while others require in-office procedures such as bladder Botox injections.

When surgery is needed, a minimally invasive robotic or transvaginal approach ensures that patients experience less pain and shorter recovery times.

Dr. Estañol is passionate about connecting with her patients by listening to them, advocating for them and making sure they are well-informed when it comes to making decisions about their health.

Dr. Estañol’s Training

Dr. Estañol received her medical training at the University of Santo Tomas Hospital in Manila, Philippines, followed by a residency in urology. She completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency at Ascension Providence Hospital and Medical Center in Southfield, Michigan, followed by a urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery fellowship at Trihealth Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati.
