Dr. Patrick Domkowski is a board-certified surgeon with the Orlando Health Weight Loss and Bariatric Surgery Institute. He has more than 20 years of experience, and his specialties include:
- Robotic bariatric surgery

Dr. Domkowski’s Training
Dr. Domkowski earned bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and theology from Fordham University in New York City. He received his master’s degree in physiology and his PhD in cardiac physiology from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., where he also earned his medical degree. He completed his general surgery residency and cardiovascular surgery fellowship at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.

He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. His professional memberships include the American College of Surgeons, American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons.
Dr. Domkowski has presented his research nationally and internationally. He has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and written several chapters in surgical textbooks.
Outside of work, Dr. Domkowski enjoys spending time with family, traveling and volunteering for community health initiatives.
