Bio
Ronald “Jamie” Lynch is a nurse practitioner with the Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute providing inpatient cardiology care including:
- Evaluating and treating patients with chronic cardiovascular disease
- Managing coronary artery disease and other chronic conditions
- Ordering cardiovascular diagnostic testing
- Working alongside cardiologists
- Preventive cardiac medicine
- Patient education
He has more than three decades of adult cardiology inpatient and outpatient care experience at Orlando Health.
Ronald believes in a whole-life wellness approach to healthcare.
Ronald’s Training
Ronald earned his bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Central Florida in Orlando and Master of Science in nursing (MSN) from the University of Florida in Gainesville.
About Ronald
Ronald is certified as an adult health clinical nurse specialist by the American Nurses Association and licensed as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) by the Florida Department of Health. He is a member of the American Heart Association Council for Cardiovascular Nursing, American Association of Critical Care Nurses and Florida Nurses Association.
Ronald is a longtime volunteer with Shepherd’s Hope, a free clinic for the uninsured in Florida. Since 2018, he has been on its board of directors and served as chairperson for three years.
During his career, he has held courtesy faculty positions at UCF, UF and Rollins College in Winter Park.
Outside of work, Ronald enjoys swimming, biking and running.

Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
