Bio
Sharon Bond is an advanced oncology certified nurse practitioner at the Orlando Health Cancer Institute, specializing in hematology and genitourinary cancer. Since joining the Cancer Institute in 2011, Sharon has provided care in several disciplines, including breast care, gastrointestinal oncology and melanoma/sarcoma.
Sharon’s Training
Sharon earned a Master of Science degree in oncology nursing from the University of South Florida in Tampa and received a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Central Florida in Orlando.
About Sharon
She is certified as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) and holds an advanced oncology certification for nurse practitioners (AOCNP). Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Sharon worked for community practices administering chemotherapy for more than 15 years. She is also a member of the Oncology Nursing Society.

Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
