Stacey Wheeler is a certified physician assistant (PA-C) with the Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute. She provides direct care, as well as primary and secondary prevention, to cardiovascular patients in a clinical setting. Her expertise includes:
- Patient education
- Preventive treatment
- Coronary artery disease management
- Care coordination
- Medication optimization
Stacey believes that patient education helps to empower patients to make informed decisions about their health care.
Stacey’s Training
Stacey received her bachelor’s degree in health science from the University of Central Florida in Orlando. She received her Master of Medical Science in physician assistant studies from Nova Southeastern University in Orlando, graduating magna cum laude.
About Stacey
Before joining Orlando Health in 2019, Stacey served as a paramedic and as an emergency medical technician.
She is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Outside of work, Stacey likes to travel, read and spend time with her husband, family and dog.
