Sunina Nathoo, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist with the Orlando Health Digestive Health Institute. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with diseases affecting the stomach, intestines and other digestive organs. A few of the disorders she treats include gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcer disease and irritable bowel syndrome. She has a special interest in inflammatory bowel disease, nutrition, and quality metrics.

Dr. Nathoo’s Training
Dr. Nathoo completed her education and most postdoctoral training at the University of Florida and the university’s College of Medicine in Gainesville. There she received a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry, graduating cum laude, before earning her medical degree with honors in research and completing an internship and residency in internal medicine. These were followed by a fellowship in gastroenterology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where she served as chief fellow.
