Rehabilitation is the process of regaining former strength and movement after a serious illness or injury. Sometimes it may take a while for somewhere to build back the strength they had prior to an accident, that process of getting back the strength once had is called rehabilitation. Rehab covers all kinds of injuries, including physical and mental. The process of regaining strength, mobility, and fitness is called physical therapy. The definition of occupational therapy is assisting someone complete their daily activities, and Speech-Language therapy is meant to help a patient with speaking, understanding, reading, writing, and swallowing.
