  • Karen Raimer, MD, FACOG

    Dr. Raimer is a key member of our maternal-fetal medicine team, providing care for many expectant mothers whose infants may require care in our NICU or CVICU as well as surgery after delivery. She completed her fellowship at University of Miami in 1991. Dr. Raimer is a graduate of the Louisiana State University School of Medicine, New Orleans. She completed a residency in obstetrics/gynecology at the Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans, where she served as chief resident. Following a fellowship in perinatology at the University of Miami, in 1991 Dr. Raimer joined Maternal Fetal Medicine Associates in St. Petersburg, FL and is the Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Center director for Maternal Fetal Medicine at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg. Dr. Raimer serves as an examiner for the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology.

  • Mark Sanchez, MD, FACOG

    Dr. Sanchez graduated from the University of South Florida in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He subsequently attended the University of Florida College Of Medicine and graduated in 1995 with a Doctorate in Medicine. From 1995 to 1999 Dr. Sanchez performed his Internship and Residency at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he received several honors and awards including outstanding laparoscopic surgeon. Following his residency, Dr. Sanchez completed a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of South Florida where he presently serves as a Collaborative Associate Professor.

  • Patrick Mularoni, MD, FAAP, FACEP

    Fellowship-trained in sports medicine, Patrick Mularoni, MD is on the faculty of Bayfront Health St. Petersburg’s Sports Medicine Fellowship Program.  He also is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric emergency medicine, and serves as a pediatric emergency medicine physician and the medical director of the AllSports Medicine Program at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital (St. Petersburg).

  • David Parrish, MD, FAAFP

    Since 1987, David Parrish, MD has served on the faculty of Bayfront Health St. Petersburg’s graduate medical education programs. Currently, he is part of the core faculty for the Sports Medicine Fellowships. From 2001 to 2016, Dr. Parrish was the director of the hospital’s Family Medicine Residency Program. During his time at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg, he also served two terms as its chief of medical staff. Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Parrish is a member of the Bayfront Health Medical Group Family Medicine practice.

  • Carlos R. Rodriguez, MD, FAAFP

    Board certified in sports medicine and family medicine, Carlos R. Rodriguez, MD is Bayfront Health St. Petersburg’s Sports Medicine Fellowship director and the assistant director to the Family Medicine Residency Program. Since 2011, he has been responsible for developing, overseeing and enhancing both programs.

    A member of the Sports Medicine Fellowship faculty at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg George Canizares, MD is board certified in orthopedic surgery and specializes in sports medicine.

  • H. James Brownlee, Jr., MD

    H. James Brownlee, Jr, MD, earned his medical degree at State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. He joined the Family Medicine Residency Program in 2016 as a part-time faculty member. He has also served as chair of the Department of Family Medicine and medical director of the Monsour Executive Wellness Center at USF Health. He is currently professor emeritus in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine.

  • George Hutter, MD

    George E. Hutter, MD, earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. He joined the Family Medicine Residency Program in 2016 as adjunct faculty. Dr. Hutter has held numerous faculty and administrative positions, including program director, medical director, research administrator, vice president of medical affairs and chief medical officer. He is the recipient of numerous awards for leadership and teaching, including the Florida Family Physician Educator Award in recognition of his outstanding efforts in providing quality education to medical students, residents and practicing family physicians.

  • David O. Parrish, MD

    David O. Parrish, MD, earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama Medical School in Birmingham. He served in the Family Medicine Residency Program at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Pensacola. After leaving active duty to join Bayfront Health, he affiliated with the United States Naval Reserve for many years, retiring at the rank of Navy Captain. Since 1987, David O. Parrish, MD, has contributed as faculty in the residency program, serving as director from 2001 to 2016.

    Adam Prawer, MD, earned his medical degree at the University of Florida in Gainesville. He joined the Family Medicine Residency Program in 2012 after graduating from Bayfront Health St. Petersburg's Family Medicine Residency Program.
