Sarah Barbour, MD, joined Orlando Health Physicians Infectious Disease Group in 2015. Dr. Barbour is board certified in infectious diseases and internal medicine.

Dr. Barbour earned her medical degree from the Wake Forest School of Medicine. She completed her internal medicine residency at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, where she also completed a fellowship in infectious diseases.

Prior to joining Orlando Health, Dr. Barbour was in private practice with Savannah Infectious Diseases in Savannah, Georgia, where she was an active participant in a citywide antimicrobial stewardship program. She was also an assistant professor at the Savannah campus of Mercer University.

Dr. Barbour has been published in several journals and has conducted research on infectious diseases. Additionally, she a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America.
