Objective
The primary objective of the trial is to establish the efficacy of intra-arterial (IA)
mechanical thrombectomy with proximal carotid artery angioplasty (with deferred
revascularization) versus acute stenting during thrombectomy in patients with acute ischemic
stroke (AIS) from large vessel occlusion (LVO) in the anterior circulation and with proximal
carotid occlusive disease (occlusion or severe stenosis) within 24 hours after symptom onset. -
Key Eligibility
Patients 18 to 85 years of age with Proximal Internal Carotid Artery Acute Stroke.
