  • Objective

The objective of this study aims to determine the radiation dose of patients with THA (Total Hip Arthroplasty) who had a dislocation subsequently reduced in the emergency department with follow-up. This will be determined by using the number of radiographs and CT scans performed after the dislocation event. A dose of 0.365 mSv will be utilized for each x-ray performed and a dose of 3.09 mSv for each hip CT scan obtained.

  • Key Eligibility

The population of this study consists of adult patients (skeletally mature), who underwent primary THA with subsequent reduction from January 1st, 2021 to December 31st, 2023 at Orlando Health.
