Bayfront Health St. Petersburg Announces Plans for New Medical Pavilion at Institute Square

St. Petersburg, FL (November 15, 2022)- Bayfront Health St. Petersburg is teaming up with three of the state’s top medical specialists to build its new Bayfront Health Medical Pavilion – Institute Square. The pavilion will be a technologically advanced facility offering world-class care to the Tampa Bay region and beyond through partnerships with the Florida Cancer Specialists and Research Institute, All Florida Orthopaedic Associates and Women’s Care.

Cancer care at the new facility will be provided by multiple oncology specialists and physicians offering expertise in urogynecology, colorectal, thoracic, lung, head and neck, breast and skin cancer treatments., Florida Cancer Specialists and Research Institute, one of the largest oncological providers in Florida, and Women’s Care, which now counts more than 100 locations across the Unites States, are partnering with the Bayfront Health Cancer Institute, the Orlando Health Cancer Institute and Bayfront Health St. Petersburg radiation oncologists to provide unparalleled personalized care.

The Bayfront Health Medical Pavilion – Institute Square will offer excellence in orthopedics through a partnership with All Florida Orthopaedic Associates. As part of the one of the largest orthopedic practices in the state, All Florida Orthopaedic Associates has been serving the Tampa Bay area for more than 30 years by providing expertise in multiple orthopedic specialties and procedures including orthopedic trauma, sports medicine, total joint surgery, foot and ankle care, as well as treatment for upper extremities.

The four-story, 132,000 square foot Bayfront Health Medical Pavilion - Institute Square complex will be built on the superblock west of the James Heart Center and will also include an outpatient imaging center and diagnostic laboratory services.

It is scheduled to open in late Spring of 2025.
