Orlando Health Named in the Top 10 for Large Employers in the Top Workplaces in Central Florida!

Orlando Health has been named a Central Florida Top Workplace for 2019 by the Orlando Sentinel!

In an announcement made at a Top Workplaces Luncheon held August 9 at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld, Orlando Health ranked in the top 10 in the large employer category and was recognized for having a positive work environment and healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement.

“We are especially proud to earn this designation,” said Karen Frenier, vice president, Human Resources. “This ranking was based solely on feedback shared by our team members about what it is like to work at Orlando Health.”

The Central Florida companies receiving this distinction were compared to other organizations across the region using the results of employee surveys conducted by a third-party vendor. Survey participants were randomly selected, and the survey measured qualities such as company leadership, communication, career growth, work environment, managerial skills, pay and benefits.

“Meeting the standards of a Top Workplace means that we scored very high on the survey that took place in the spring,” said Karen. “Our success at creating a positive work environment ties directly into our strategic imperative of becoming a best place to work.”

Orlando Health is being featured in a special section of the August 11 issue of the Orlando Sentinel and on TopWorkplaces.com. Orlando Health has earned the Orlando Sentinel’s Top Workplace designation (formerly known as Top 100 Companies) for more than 20 years.
