June 12 ​Road Closures for Pulse Remembrance Events

To remember the victims and honor the survivors of Pulse, community events and activities will take place at the site of the former nightclub on Monday, June 12. In support of these events, road closures are being scheduled for June 10 - 12 by the City of Orlando that may affect drivers coming to or from the downtown campus.

Road closures announced as of June 7 at 1 pm are as follows:

• Southbound lane of Orange Avenue from Kaley Street to Harding Street will be closed from noon on Saturday, June 10 and until June 12 at 11:59pm.

• The following streets will be closed throughout Monday, June 12 from 12:01 am to 11:59 pm.
   - West Esther Street from Orange Avenue to South Lucerne Terrace
   - East Esther Street from Orange Avenue to Baylarian Boulevard
   - East Harding Street from Orange Avenue to Baylarian Boulevard events.

The Pulse remembrance events on Orange Avenue are expected to draw a large number of participants and media personnel. Those who join the events may also choose to walk to the downtown campus. Expect and watch for foot traffic near Lake Beauty and ORMC.
