Bio
Dr. Cole Greves is a double-board-certified maternal fetal care surgeon and co-director of the Orlando Health Women’s Institute Fetal Care Center. He also serves as the director of complex fetal care at Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies.
Dr. Greves works with women whose pregnancies are complicated by maternal medical problems or fetal congenital diseases. His expertise includes:
- Fetal in-utero repair of myelomeningocele
- Teratomas
- Pulmonary masses
- Congenital masses and lesions
- Congenital central nervous system brain and spinal anomalies
- Fetal hydrocephalus
Dr. Greves’ Training
Dr. Greves earned a bachelor’s degree in human physiology, genetics and cell biology at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis and received his medical degree from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. He completed his residency at Orlando Health and a fellowship in maternal fetal medicine at the University of Rochester Strong Memorial Hospital in New York. Dr. Greves earned a Master of Business Administration at the University of Florida in Gainesville, where he was selected for Phi Kappa Phi honor society.
About Dr. Greves
Dr. Greves is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and maternal-fetal medicine by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Greves served as medical director of the Orlando Health Winnie Palmer’s antepartum and women’s intensive care unit and assistant director of medical education.
He is chairman of the Florida Maternal Mortality Review Committee, associate director for maternal health of the Florida Perinatal Quality Collaborative and an obstetrics consultant to the Florida Department of Health. Dr. Greves is the immediate past chair of District XII of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He serves on several regional and national boards and committees, where he has been recognized for his work in physician advocacy, patient safety and the delivery of high-quality and equitable care.
Dr. Greves has conducted extensive research during his career, and he is the principal investigator on a Cesarean section study and co-investigator on a sepsis study. He also is a frequent presenter at medical conferences and meetings.
He serves on the faculty of the University of Central Florida College of Medicine in Orlando.
