Bio
Neelu Dhingra, MD, is a neurologist with Orlando Health Neuroscience Institute. She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and specializes in caring for patients with epilepsy.
After performing advanced diagnostic procedures to locate the origin of a patient's seizures, Dr. Dhingra creates a personalized treatment plan designed to reduce the severity and frequency of seizures or, in some cases, eliminate them. This tailored plan may involve surgery, medication, diet and other lifestyle modifications.
Dr. Dhingra earned her medical degree and completed an internship at the Government Medical College in Patiala, India. She obtained additional training in anesthesiology at Dayanand Medical College and Hospital in Ludhiana, India, before completing a residency in neurology at St. Louis University School of Medicine in Missouri and a fellowship in epilepsy at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
Dr. Dhingra is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, Research Society of Anesthesiology and Clinical Pharmacology, and Indian Medical Association.
