Orlando Health is on a Winning Roll!
On March 29, Orlando Health was once again honored by the Advisory Board Company, the administrator of our Team Member Engagement Survey. Yesterday in Chicago at an annual awards event, it was announced that Orlando Health is a 2018 Workplace of the Year recipient and one of six recipients of the 2018 Workplace Transformation award.
The Workplace of the Year award is an annual distinction the Advisory Board Company uses to recognize hospitals and health systems in their national database that have outstanding levels of team member engagement. The Workplace Transformation award went to those healthcare systems that exhibited the largest increase in engagement for an organization of its size.
“Last year, Orlando Health scored in the 85th percentile nationally for the individual hospital ranking and the 95th percentile in the healthcare system rankings,” says Karen Frenier, vice president and chief human resources officer. “We were extremely proud to see such outstanding scores and thrilled to receive these prestigious awards in recognition of our team’s high level of engagement.”
Engaged employees, as defined by The Advisory Board Company, are those who exhibit both loyalty and commitment to the organization. These team members are willing to expend discretionary effort, often going above and beyond to help the organization succeed. The award recognizes Orlando Health’s commitment to our strategic imperative to become the best place to work for our team members.
