Bio
Dr. Erin Capps is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist with Orlando Health Medical Group with experience including:
- Interpretation of CT, ultrasound, plain film, mammography, MRI and fluoroscopy
- Trauma and emergency radiology
- General diagnostic radiology
Before joining Orlando Health, she worked for more than a decade with a private practice radiology group in Honolulu, as well as with the Veterans Administration's National Teleradiology Program.
Dr. Capps’ Training
She received her bachelor's degree in mathematics from Austin College in Sherman, Texas, and earned her medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. Dr. Capps completed her residency in diagnostic radiology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, where she was chief resident her final year, and her fellowship in trauma and emergency radiology at the University of Washington Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

Dr. Capps is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology and is a licensed medical doctor in Florida. Her professional memberships include the American Roentgen Ray Society and American College of Radiology.
Outside of work, Dr. Capps enjoys golf, photography, stand-up paddleboarding, gardening and running.

Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
