Bio
Dr. José Lázaro Weiss is a fellowship-trained urogynecologist and reconstructive pelvic surgeon with the Orlando Health Women's Institute Center for Urogynecology. He specializes in diagnosing and treating pelvic floor disorders including:
- Pelvic organ prolapse
- Urinary incontinence
- Overactive bladder
- Fecal incontinence
- Fistula repair
Dr. Lázaro Weiss believes in individualized care. He provides clear and understandable information so patients can make informed decisions about the treatment that best fits their lifestyle.
Dr. Lázaro Weiss’ Training
Dr. Lázaro Weiss graduated cum laude with bachelor’s degrees in biological science and Spanish from Florida State University in Tallahassee. He earned his medical degree from Ponce Health Sciences University School of Medicine in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Dr. Lázaro Weiss completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, Pennsylvania, where he served as chief resident in his final year. He also completed a fellowship in urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis.

He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. His professional memberships include the American Urogynecologic Society and American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Lázaro Weiss’ work has been published in peer-reviewed medical journals.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and dogs, tennis and boating. Dr. Lázaro Weiss is fluent in English and Spanish.
