Dr. Karnika Ayinapudi is a board-certified cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist with Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute. She specializes in heart rhythm disorders, cardiac ablation procedures, and cardiac device implantation and management. Her expertise includes:
- Cardiac arrhythmias
- Electrophysiology studies
- Echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms and Holter monitoring
- Catheter-based interventions including radiofrequency ablation and pulsed field ablation
- Atrial fibrillation and flutter ablation
- PVC and ventricular tachycardia ablation

Dr. Ayinapudi’s Training
Dr. Ayinapudi received her medical training from Mediciti Institute of Medical Sciences in Medchal, India, and completed an internal medicine residency at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. She completed fellowships in cardiovascular disease at Tulane University in New Orleans, and in electrophysiology at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. She was named Fellow of the Year at Tulane.
About Dr. Ayinapudi
Dr. Ayinapudi is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine and in adult comprehensive echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography. She is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the Heart Rhythm Society.
Outside of work, Dr. Ayinapudi enjoys spending time with family and friends.
She is fluent in English, Telugu and Hindi.
