Dr. Menaka Dhand is a primary care physician with Orlando Health Physician Associates. Board certified in internal medicine, she focuses on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and diseases in patients 18 years and older and her areas of special interest include:
- Preventive care
- Hypertension
- Diabetes
- Thyroid disease
Dr. Dhand believes a team-based approach utilizing evidence-based medicine provides the best patient care.
Dr. Dhand’s Training
Dr. Dhand received her medical training from St. George’s School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, and completed her residency in internal medicine at New York University’s Langone School of Medicine in Brooklyn.
Her education also includes a bachelor’s degree in microbiology and immunology from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, and a Diploma of Higher Education in Medical Sciences from Northumbria University in Newcastle, England.
