Dr. Steven Brooks, MD, is a board-certified urologist with Orlando Health Medical Group Urology and designated as a UroLift® Center of Excellence. As a urologist, Dr. Brooks has been diagnosing and treating prostate conditions and incontinence in Central Florida for 30 years.
He has been designated as a Center of Excellence for GreenLight™ Laser Therapy, a distinction awarded to urologists who expertly use this advanced technology to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), often referred to as an enlarged prostate gland. Dr. Brooks’ clinical studies have focused on prostate cancer reduction, catheter use and the effects of drugs commonly prescribed to treat BPH.
Dr. Brooks’ Training
Dr. Brooks earned his medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington. He completed his surgical residency at New York University – Bellevue Medical Center in New York City. His residency in urology was performed at the University of Connecticut Health Center and affiliated hospitals, where he served as chief urology resident.

Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
