Dr. Whitney Thorne is a board-certified vascular surgeon with the Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute. She has expertise in:

Dr. Thorne’s Training
Dr. Thorne earned her degree in osteopathic medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. She completed her residency in integrated vascular surgery at TriHealth/Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati. Dr. Thorne also has a master’s degree in biology from Purdue University in Indianapolis and a bachelor’s degree in biology from University of North Carolina at Wilmington.

Dr. Thorne is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and has a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation certificate from the Alliance for Physician Verification & Advancement. Her professional memberships include the American College of Surgeons, American Medical Association and American Osteopathic Association.
Outside of work, Dr. Thorne likes to read, play golf, and spend time with her family and dogs.
