  • Crohn’s and Colitis Virtual Support Group

    Please join us for a virtual support group for patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Patients ages 13 and older are welcome to attend, along with family members and caregivers. Sessions will help patients cope with living with a chronic gastrointestinal illness by providing educational information, mental health support, nutrition counseling and more.

    This presentation will provide an overview of what you need to know about preparing for your spine surgery (spinal discectomy, laminectomy or fusion surgery), rehabilitation and successful recovery at home.

  • Pre-Operative Joint Class Presentation

    This presentation will provide an overview of what you need to know about preparing for your joint surgery, rehabilitation and successful recovery at home.

  • All About Baby - Virtual Class

    Designed for expectant parents, this one-hour class will answer questions regarding breastfeeding and cover topics such as newborn care, safe sleep practices and basic nutrition. Classes are taught by a pediatrician and consist of a teaching portion followed by a Q&A session. Expectant moms and partners are encouraged to participate.

  • Care for Your Core and Pelvic Floor: Birth Prep and Postpartum Healing

    Pregnancy and delivery can cause your body to experience many physical changes, including the development of pelvic floor disorders. Care for Your Core and Pelvic Floor is taught by a physical therapist who specializes in the ways in which pregnancy and delivery affect the pelvic floor. The class will address common issues like back and pelvic pain, diastasis recti, urinary incontinence and pelvic floor dysfunction. Learn what changes to expect, how to prepare for childbirth and how to maximize your recovery after a vaginal birth or cesarean section.

  • Virtual Stroke Support Group

    Stroke survivors and caregivers can find care, support and connection at Orlando Health’s Stroke Support Group. In this monthly group, currently provided virtually by calling in or logging on, participants will have the opportunity to share stories and experiences with others who understand their journey, while learning about helpful topics such as nutrition, available resources and other ways to improve one’s lifestyle.

  • Free Head and Neck Cancer Screenings

    For the health and safety of the community, our patients and staff, Orlando Health is monitoring COVID-19 closely. At this time, the Head and Neck Screenings scheduled for Saturday, April 17, has been canceled.

  • Cancer Support Groups

    Our weekly groups explore ways of coping with a cancer diagnosis and treatment and are a great place to meet other patients.

  • Laryngectomy Support Group

    This group benefits anyone who is a laryngectomy patient as well as their family members. The group features a guest speaker, followed by an informal “meet and greet.” Facilitated by Linda Stachowiak, MS/CCCSLP BRS-S, speech pathologist.
