Orlando Health becomes founding sponsor of the National Pulse Memorial & Museum
Orlando, FL (May 7, 2019) – Orlando Health has become the first sponsor of the National Pulse Memorial & Museum. The $1 million sponsorship will be used for project construction as well as for the establishment of an endowed scholarship that is healthcare related. The scholarship will be named for one of the 49 victims fatally wounded in the 2016 attack.

But operating on a mother and her unborn child at the same time can be challenging and unpredictable. To give their world-class surgeons even more information ahead of surgery, Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies is using MRI and ultrasound imaging along with 3D-printing technology to create a first-of-its-kind detailed model that allows surgeons to plan procedures ahead of time, identifying potential obstacles and reducing the risks of surgery.

Surgeon J. Ryan Williams, MD to Lead Colorectal Surgery Practice at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg
