  • Orlando Health provides Stop the Bleed training to Orange County Public Schools employees, and donates bleeding control kits

    Orlando Health and Orange County Public Schools spent the summer break focused on preparedness lessons. The adult and pediatric trauma teams from Orlando Health provided Bleeding Control Basic (BCon) training to principals, assistant principals and other staff; and donated 1,000 bleeding control kits to the district. The training and donation took place during OCPS Safety Days throughout June and July, with final sessions on Monday, July 29.

    St. Petersburg, FL (October 1, 2020) – Bayfront Health St. Petersburg is now officially part of Orlando Health Inc. Orlando Health, a private, not-for-profit healthcare organization headquartered in Central Florida, officially closed on the hospital purchase from Community Health Systems (CHS) on Wednesday, September 30. The City of St. Petersburg, which owns the land that the hospital sits on, approved transferring the lease to Orlando Health in July.

  • Orlando Health announces new president of Health Central Hospital

    Orlando, FL (April 4, 2016) – Orlando Health has named Mark Marsh, senior vice president, Orlando Health and president, Health Central Hospital. He will begin his new role May 1, replacing Greg Ohe, who was recently named senior vice president of ambulatory services for Orlando Health. Mr. Marsh most recently served as chief executive officer of Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville, Tennessee, a 270-bed acute care hospital. In that position, he was responsible for operations, building physician relationships, and engaging employees.

Located on the Orlando Health – Health Central Hospital campus, the 54-bed inpatient facility will provide a full range of advanced rehabilitation services and will specialize in care for patients suffering from complex neurological conditions.
