St. Petersburg City Council approves Bayfront Health land lease agreement with Orlando Health
St. Petersburg, FL (July 9, 2020) – Today, Orlando Health received approval from the St. Petersburg City Council on a 50-year agreement to lease the land on which Bayfront Health is located. City approval of the land lease was required in order for Orlando Health to move forward with its acquisition of the hospital. In June, the healthcare organization signed a definitive agreement with Community Health Systems (CHS) to purchase Bayfront Health St. Petersburg.

Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute Opens Phase 1 of Downtown Complex
Orlando, FL (March 26, 2023) – The Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute is excited to begin welcoming patients to its new, downtown complex on March 27. (July 20, 2016) — Orlando Regional Medical Center recently received full Atrial Fibrillation with Electrophysiology Services (EPS) Accreditation status from the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care (SCPC). ORMC is one of only two hospitals in Florida, and the only one in Central Florida achieving the designation for its Atrial Fibrillation Program.
