Orlando Health hospitals receives ACC Chest Pain Center Accreditation
Orlando Health is a $3.4 billion not-for-profit healthcare organization and a community-based network of hospitals, physician practices and outpatient care centers across Central Florida. The organization is home to the area’s only Level One Trauma Centers for adults and pediatrics, and is a statutory teaching hospital system that offers both specialty and community hospitals. Orlando Health Hospitals Receive “A” Grades From Leapfrog Group
Orlando, FL (May 27, 2020) – The Leapfrog Group has released its hospital Safety Grades for the Spring 2020 rating period and three Orlando Health hospitals earned A Grades: Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center, Orlando Health South Seminole Hospital, and Orlando Health South Lake Hospital. Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital received a B and Orlando Health – Health Central Hospital received a C.

Orlando Health Hospitals Recognized for Patient Safety with A Grades
All eligible Orlando Health hospitals received A grades in the most recent rating period by The Leapfrog Group, a patient safety advocacy organization. The hospitals are ORMC, Dr. P. Phillips Hospital, South Seminole Hospital, South Lake Hospital, in affiliation with Orlando Health, and Health Central Hospital. The Leapfrog Group does not grade specialty hospitals like Arnold Palmer Hospital and Winnie Palmer Hospital.

CMS: Orlando Health Has Highest-Rated Hospitals in Central Florida

Orlando Health South Lake Hospital Recognized for Commitment to Reducing Sudden Infant Death Syndrome
Clermont, FL (June 29, 2022) – Orlando Health South Lake Hospital has received the National Safe Sleep Hospital Certification Silver for implementing hospital-wide best practices and educating parents and caregivers on sleep safety to help prevent sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). A recognition conferred by Cribs for Kids, a national organization that advocates for the standardization of safe sleep practices in alignment with the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) guidelines, the National Safe Sleep Hospital Certification confers recognitions at a bronze, silver and gold level.
