Hospital Quality Indicators
Many of the methods below focus on a hospital's ability to provide the best care for certain types of patients the most often. This can be difficult to measure because each patient's case is different and outcomes can not always be predicted. In addition, the collection of data for healthcare facilities is a challenging, continuously changing science. Therefore it is important to compare as many quality measurement types as possible so as to form the most complete picture of a hospital's total quality of care before making a final decision.
