  • Orlando Health rebrands imaging centers

    Orlando, FL (September 6, 2016) – The name Orlando Health Imaging Centers is now official. Today the Altamonte Springs facility, formerly known as Boston Diagnostic Imaging, became the first of five facilities to welcome new temporary exterior signage bearing the Orlando Health moniker. Permanent signage is expected to be installed throughout September. Orlando Health and Medical Center Radiology Group (MCRG) formed a company to purchase the outpatient imaging centers in December 2014 and have devoted the past 18 months to integrating them into the Orlando Health network.

  • Orlando Health plans additions to downtown Orlando campus

    Orlando, FL (January 24, 2019) – Orlando Health has announced plans for two new additions to its downtown Orlando campus. This week, plans for a new building located at 1800 S. Orange Avenue were submitted to City of Orlando’s planning division to begin the review and approval process. The one-story, 6,800 square foot facility will become home to a new Orlando Health Imaging Center. The new site will include state-of-the-art MRI, Open MRI, Radiology, CT Scan, Interventional Radiology and Mammography.

  • Orlando Health announces new president of Health Central Hospital

    Orlando, FL (April 4, 2016) – Orlando Health has named Mark Marsh, senior vice president, Orlando Health and president, Health Central Hospital. He will begin his new role May 1, replacing Greg Ohe, who was recently named senior vice president of ambulatory services for Orlando Health. Mr. Marsh most recently served as chief executive officer of Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville, Tennessee, a 270-bed acute care hospital. In that position, he was responsible for operations, building physician relationships, and engaging employees.

  • Orlando Health Opens New Team Member Center

    Fifty-five West Gore is now home to Orlando Health’s Team Member Center; the new “front door” for potential Orlando Health employees. The $12 million project features an 1175 SF lobby/waiting area that includes three private interview rooms.  In addition to in-person interviews, the interview rooms are equipped for teleconference interviews.  The Team Member Center also features an open application room. There are six seats in the application room with six desktop computers. Applicants can apply online using these computers or apply from anywhere in the world using their own devices, making the organization’s application process entirely digital. The application room also features privacy screens between individual stations to allow for the discreet administration of various required tests.
