    ORLANDO, Fla. (April 1, 2016) --- Orlando Health Heart & Vascular Institute’s two cardiology groups have joined to form one of the largest cardiovascular practices in Florida. Mid-Florida Cardiology Specialists and Orlando Heart Center will begin the merger process on April 1, 2016. Named the Orlando Health Heart & Vascular Institute, the new combined practice consists of 42 physicians, 280 team members and 13 locations throughout Central Florida.     A diagnosis of cancer can often be one of the most stressful experiences in a person’s life. You may feel overwhelmed, anxious, or even depressed. Concerns about physical changes and the ability to work and socialize as before are common. The opportunity to connect with other men living with cancer can help you feel less alone. This group is open to men at any stage of their cancer journey and aims to provide a safe place to exchange support, get information, and receive guidance while discussing the unique challenges of living with a cancer diagnosis.

  • Brain & Spine Tumor Support Group

    For anyone currently or previously diagnosed and treated for a brain or spine tumor, this group will provide helpful information on how to navigate through your illness. No one understands the experience of someone affected by a brain tumor more than somebody else in the same situation. Whether you are a patient or a caregiver, we invite you to gain strength, courage, and confidence by joining our warmhearted environment for support.

  • Young Adult Cancer Support Group

    This group is designed for young adults (under 39) who are diagnosed with cancer. Join us as we discuss age specific challenges such as dating, fertility concerns, loss of identity and independence, stalled career development, fears of recurrence, managing higher education, family planning, and much more!
