A Day in The Life of an Air Care EMT
It’s only natural that I would end up choosing a career as an EMT, especially considering my dad was a firefighter. I guess it runs in the family. I can honestly say, though, that there is nothing else I’d rather do than what I get to do every day as an EMT for the Orlando Health Air Care Team and the Orlando Fire Department. Among the women being treated with mastectomy for breast cancer are women of different body types, lifestyles and goals for reconstruction. Breast reconstruction after a mastectomy should be tailored to the needs of each patient. That is why patient-specific breast reconstruction is gaining more traction among surgeons across the country. With this approach, we can fine-tune the breast reconstruction modality to each patient, depending on her case.
