Didactics
The cardiology lecture series and group presentations provide direct teaching to comprehensively cover topics in general cardiology and subspecialties. In addition to weekly conferences, fellows have the opportunity to participate in a lecture series tailored to core clinical competencies and board preparation. Annually as part of the EP lecture series, Dr. Filart, an EP attending, uses pig hearts to demonstrate the interplay between anatomy and electrophysiology in a hands-on interactive review class. Additionally, fellows routinely participate in simulation experiences in Orlando Health’s state-of-the-art simulation lab.
