Bio
Dr. Nahomy Calixte is a urologist with the PUR Clinic at South Lake Hospital, part of Orlando Health Medical Group Urology. She specializes in a variety of urological conditions, including:
- Kidney and bladder stones
- Recurrent urinary tract infections
- Hydroceles and varicoceles
- Chronic groin and testicular pain
- Male infertility
- Unwanted male fertility and vasectomy
- Enlarged prostate and prostatitis
- Genitourinary cancers
Dr. Calixte uses evidenced-based medicine as well as the latest treatment techniques to provide her patients with the best possible care.
Dr. Calixte’s Training
Dr. Calixte earned her medical degree from the Boston University School of Medicine and also a master’s degree from the university’s Graduate Medical Sciences program. She completed a urology residency at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo and a fellowship in urology and robotic infertility at Orlando Health South Lake Hospital.
About Dr. Calixte
Dr. Calixte’s professional memberships include the Robotic Assisted Microsurgical and Endoscopic Society, American Urologic Association and Florida Urological Society. She also serves as an instructor in urology at the University of Central Florida in Orlando.
Dr. Calixte volunteers with International Volunteers in Urology, which organizes medical trips around the world. She has traveled to Mongolia twice to care for the medically underserved. She is fluent in English, French and Creole.
