Teen Networking Group

However, Teen Networking Group is your time to process, think, share, reflect and relate with other teens who also have a chronic or life-changing diagnosis. Certified Child Life specialists will facilitate therapeutic and creative activities to promote discussion and self-expression.

Guidelines and Participation

The Teen Networking Group at Orlando Health Children's Arnold Palmer Hospital is for adolescents and young adults, ages 15–20 years old, who are directly impacted by the effects of a frequent, chronic or life-altering condition.

Meetings will be held monthly in the Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies classrooms from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Consideration will be given to age appropriateness and psychosocial diagnoses for group dynamics during the enrollment process. Due to the self-expressive nature of this group, adolescents who are currently receiving mental health services may not be eligible to participate.

If you meet the eligibility requirements as described above and can commit to attending monthly meetings (6:00 pm – 8:00 pm), you are welcome to submit an application.

If interested, please send an email to R-Teen-Networking-Group@Orlandohealth.com for more information.
