Student Nurse Opportunities at Orlando Health

Student Nurse Internships

  • Enrolled in Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program with successful completion of fundamentals nursing course.
  • Maintains a current BLS from the American Heart Association.
  • Proof of continued enrollment in a professional nursing program with no break in enrollment to exceed one year.
  • Enrolled in Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program.
  • Preparing to enter final two semesters/quarter of nursing program.
  • Maintains a current BLS from the American Heart Association.
  • Proof of continued enrollment in a professional nursing program with no break in enrollment to exceed one year.

Orlando Health Summer Student Nurse Externship (SNE) Program

The Orlando Health Summer SNE Program is a full-time, eight-week paid summer externship working alongside an RN preceptor.

  • By program start date, must have completed junior year or equivalent.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 preferred.
  • Provide proof of current American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification.
  • Available to work full time for eight contiguous weeks in June and July.
