Dr. Ali Abbood is a board-certified cardiovascular disease specialist with the Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute. He specializes in coronary artery disease, and his expertise includes:

Dr. Abbood’s Training
Dr. Abbood received his medical training from the University of Al-Mustansiriyah College of Medicine in Baghdad. He completed his internal medicine residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center.
About Dr. Abbood
Dr. Abbood is a board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases by the American Board of Internal Medicine, certified in echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography, in nuclear cardiology by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology and in cardiovascular CT by the Certification Board of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. His professional memberships include the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians and American College of Cardiology.
Dr. Abbood has delivered national and international presentations on cardiovascular research, and his research focuses on preventive cardiology and interventional cardiology.
Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, soccer and cooking. Dr. Abbood is fluent in English and Arabic.
