Bio
Annmarie Barnett is a certified physician assistant (PA-C) with the Orlando Health Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery Institute. Her expertise includes:
- Performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Prescribing pharmacological treatment modalities
- Taking comprehensive medical histories and conducting physical examinations
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
- Providing post-anesthesia care and pain management
- Assisting with injectable treatments
Annmarie finds it fulfilling to be part of a patient’s road to recovery through reconstructive plastic surgery. She enjoys helping patients return to doing what they love with confidence.
Annmarie’s Training
Annmarie received her bachelor’s degrees in psychobiology and biology from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. She earned her master’s in physician assistant studies from South University in Savannah, Georgia.
About Annmarie
Annmarie is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed as a physician assistant in Florida. She is a member of Pi Alpha National Honor Society for Physician Assistants, Florida Academy of Physician Assistants and American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
Annmarie began her career as a physician assistant in otolaryngology before transitioning to plastic surgery.
Outside of work, Annmarie enjoys reading, being outdoors and spending time with her family.
