Bio
Dr. Anthony Ware is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with the Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute. His specialties include:
- Total knee replacement
- Total hip replacement
- Knee and shoulder arthroscopy
- Trigger finger
- Carpal tunnel syndrome
- Carpometacarpal joint arthroplasty

With more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Ware strives to provide compassionate orthopedic care while restoring form and function to his patients.
Dr. Ware’s Training
Dr. Ware received his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts in Worcester. He completed residencies in general surgery and orthopedics at the University of Florida Shands Hospital in Jacksonville, where he served as chief resident in orthopedic surgery his final year. He also completed an orthopedic foot and ankle fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville.

Dr. Ware is board certified by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his daughter, skydiving, bungee jumping, tennis, boating, working out and traveling. Dr. Ware has participated in several medical mission trips to Haiti.

The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions, shown above, from our nationally-recognized Press-Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
