Ariel is a certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-C) with the Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute’s interventional cardiology team. She cares for outpatient cardiology patients and provides:
- Education
- Prevention
- Formulating care plans
- Diagnosing and treating heart conditions
- Educating patients on diagnoses and treatment options
- Providing preventive education and care for heart health
Ariel joined Orlando Health in 2014 and has experience in providing pre- and post-operative care for cardiac patients; promoting patient health and well-being through physical exams, screenings and diagnostic tests; and performing postpartum and neonatal assessments.
She believes the pursuit of good health is an individual holistic endeavor that healthcare professionals and their patients embark on together.
Ariel’s Training
Ariel received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Central Florida in Orlando and her Master of Science in nursing (MSN) from the University of South Florida in Tampa. She also has clinical training in maternal-fetal medicine and infectious diseases.
About Ariel
Ariel is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and licensed as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) and registered nurse by the Florida Department of Health. She is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and Central Florida Advanced Nursing Practice Council.
She enjoys studying the human body, staying up to date with innovative cardiac care and teaching others how to improve their health.
Outside of work, Ariel enjoys taking road trips, watching Netflix, playing video games, reading and dancing.
